Llandaff Cathedral is a Christian gathering of the Church in Wales, which is a province of the worldwide Anglican Communion; it is the seat of the Bishop of Llandaff, who is currently the Archbishop of Wales. The Cathedral is a focus of pilgrimage and spirituality in the Diocese of Llandaff and for the City of Cardiff.
Our purpose is therefore to:
Worship God and share the gospel of Jesus Christ. In so doing, we welcome all who come here, irrespective of gender, race, creed or sexuality, in order that we might share and pass on our rich Christian heritage and the joy of Christian Faith.
Thought for the Week
As we approach Holy Week and Easter we pray in the words of St. Richard of Chichester
Thanks be to Thee, my Lord Jesus Christ
For all the benefits Thou hast given me,
For all the pains and insults Thou hast borne for me.
O most merciful Redeemer, friend and brother,
May I know Thee more clearly,
Love Thee more dearly,
Follow Thee more nearly. Amen
