Music lies at the heart of daily life and worship at Llandaff Cathedral, supported by a diverse family of choirs that offer musical pathways for every age and background. At the centre of our daily liturgy is the Cathedral Choir—made up of boy and girl choristers with adult back row —who sing Choral Evensong every weekday and twice on Sundays during term time.
Complementing our flagship choir are the Majestas Choirs, our voluntary ensembles providing tailored opportunities for the wider community through the Majestas Kids, Majestas Youth, and the Majestas Consort for adult singers, who together enrich our weekend services and major festivals. During school holidays, guest choirs from around the world take up residence to keep our daily choral tradition alive.
