Launch of our Welsh-language website

We are delighted to launch the Welsh version of the Cathedral’s website.

The Dean and Chapter, as a charity, is committed to operating in line with the Church in Wales’ policy on the Welsh Language. We are currently working with the Welsh Language Commissioner in developing a Welsh Language plan which will meet the needs of our diverse congregation. We have therefore funded this important milestone in translating and developing the Welsh version of our website.

Thank you to Christopher Preece for the technical work behind the scenes and to Dorian Morgan for his assistance with the translation.

Mae’r Deon a’r Cabidwl wedi ymrwymo, fel elusen, i weithredu’n unol â pholisi Iaith Gymraeg yr Eglwys yng Nghymru. Ar hyn o bryd, rydym yn cydweithio gyda Chomisiynydd yr Iaith Gymraeg ar ddatblygu cynllun iaith fydd yn diwallu anghenion ein cynulleidfa amrywiol. I’r perwyl hwn, rydym wedi ariannu’r garreg filltir nodedig hon drwy gyfieithu a datblygu Fersiwn Gymraeg ein gwefan.
