Music Outreach

One of our biggest goals at the Cathedral is to be able to provide the opportunity to make music in our walls to everyone. Part of our efforts to achieve this are our Majestas choirs, but a larger part still is our outreach work, headed by our Animateur Rachel Kilby.

Each term Rachel works with children from local primary schools to deliver a programme of singing and music education that culminates in a combined performance. Each year, over 2,000 children participate in performances in the Cathedral and around the Diocese
