Mae pob person sy\u2019n cael ei fedyddio yn y Gadeirlan yn perthyn i&#8217;r Eglwys yng Nghymru. Mae&#8217;n ymrwymiad oes, y cam cyntaf ar daith ffydd. Mae Rhieni a Rhieni Bedydd yn cymryd addunedau difrifol i fagu\u2019r plentyn yn Gristion a\u2019i arwain trwy eu hesiampl eu hunain i fywyd ffydd. Mae\u2019n hanfodol felly i rieni a rhieni bedydd ymgymryd \u00e2\u2019r ymrwymiad hwn yn ystyriol ac o ddifri.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Pa oedran y gall person gael ei fedyddio?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gellir bedyddio person o unrhyw oedran. Mae\u2019n arferol yn yr Eglwys yng Nghymru i fabis a phlant gael eu bedyddio; mae oedolion neu bobl ifanc yn eu harddegau sy&#8217;n dod ymlaen i gael eu bedyddio fel arfer yn cael eu hannog i dderbyn Conffyrmasiwn hefyd. Yn y Conffyrmasiwn, maen nhw\u2019n cadarnhau&#8217;r un addewidion ag a wnaed ar eu rhan yn y Bedydd, gan eu bod bellach yn ddigon hen i gymryd cyfrifoldeb personol am eu ffydd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A all fy mhlentyn gael ei fedyddio yn y Gadeirlan?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mae bedydd fel arfer yn digwydd o fewn eglwys y plwyf sy\u2019n lleol i\u2019r teulu. Os ydych yn byw o fewn plwyf Llandaf a\/neu\u2019n dod i wasanaethau\u2019r Gadeirlan yn rheolaidd, gall eich plentyn gael ei fedyddio yma. Os nad ydych yn byw yn y plwyf nac yn mynychu\u2019r Gadeirlan, ond bod gennych reswm cryf arall dros eisiau cynnal y bedydd yma, gofynnwn i chi ofyn i\u2019ch Ficer lleol fel eu bod ymwybodol o&#8217;ch cais.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sut rydw i\u2019n trefnu Bedydd ar gyfer fy mhlentyn?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/llandaffcathedral.churchsuite.com\/forms\/d5mgpayb\">Cliciwch yma i gwblhau Ffurflen Ymholi am Fedydd<\/a>. Ar \u00f4l dychwelyd y ffurflen, cewch eich gwahodd i fynychu cyfarfod Paratoi\u2019r Bedydd gyda theuluoedd eraill. Ar \u00f4l y cyfarfod, byddwch yn gallu anfon manylion eich rhieni bedydd, ac i ofyn am ddyddiad ar gyfer eich gwasanaeth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Pryd caiff bedydd ei gynnal?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mae\u2019r gwasanaeth am 1.30pm ar ddydd Sul; fel arfer naill ai ar yr ail neu\u2019r pedwerydd Sul yn y mis. Mae&#8217;n para tua 30 munud. Cytunir ar ddyddiad Bedydd eich plentyn gyda chi ar \u00f4l mynychu\u2019r cyfarfod paratoi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Pwy all fod yn Rieni Bedydd a sut dylem eu dewis?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rhaid i rieni bedydd fod dros 16 oed a rhaid eu bod nhw eu hunain wedi cael eu bedyddio. Mae&#8217;n draddodiad cael tri rhiant bedydd, dau o&#8217;r un rhyw \u00e2&#8217;r plentyn; serch hynny, mae\u2019n bwysicach dewis rhieni bedydd sy\u2019n ddidwyll yn eu ffydd a\u2019u bwriad i helpu rhieni i fagu\u2019r plentyn yn y ffydd Gristnogol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sut gallaf baratoi fy mhlentyn ar gyfer y Bedydd?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I blentyn bach neu blentyn ifanc, llyfr addas i ddarllen gyda nhw ymlaen llaw fyddai \u00a0<em>\u2018My Baptism Book; a Child\u2019s Guide to Baptism\u2019<\/em>\u00a0gan Diana Murrie.
