Organ Spectacular!

On Saturday 15 September Stephen Moore (Director of Music) and David Geoffrey Thomas (Organist) will give a recital of popular organ music at Llandaff Cathedral in aid of the Cathedral Choir’s 2019 tour to Sweden.

The concert, beginning at 7.00pm, will include works by Bach, Guilmant, Vaughan Williams, Vierne and Widor played on the 2010/13 Nicholson Organ.

Members of the audience are also invited, if they wish, to request a specific piece of music to be played. This can be done by emailing stephenmoore@llandaffcathedral.org.uk. The Organists will select up to four pieces to play during the programme from those requested. Requests must be made by Saturday 1 September at the latest, and the results will be posted on the Cathedral website soon afterwards.

Admission to the concert will be FREE with a retiring collection. There will also be celebratory refreshments served by the Cathedral Choir Association.
