Choral Eucharist

The Eucharist is offered and celebrated within a Choral setting, with choristers from the Cathedral School in attendance, or visiting choirs on occasion. It is a solemn celebration where the High Altar is used and where the splendour of the liturgy is enhanced not only by the music but also by the use of incense.

Eucharist – Lady Chapel

The Holy Eucharist (or Mass) is celebrated daily at the Cathedral. At the eastern end of the Cathedral, the Lady Chapel was completed in about 1280 and is in honour of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Mother of Jesus.
