With John Rutter and Cantemus Chamber Choir
Join John Rutter for an enjoyable day at Howell’s School, Llandaff, Cardiff, learning to sing his beautiful Requiem and a host of his other popular works; a lovely way to mark Remembrance. Whether you’re young or old, an experienced chorister or new to choral singing, this Come and Sing event is a wonderful opportunity to learn new repertoire and polish your technique under the inspiring direction of one of Britain’s best-loved composers.
The day is hosted by Cantemus Chamber Choir, widely regarded as one of Wales’ finest choirs, with piano accompaniment by Huw Williams, Director of Music at Her Majesty’s Chapel Royal, St James’ Palace.
The event will take place in the Sports Hall at Howell’s. Registration is from 10am with an 11am start. The day finishes at 4.45pm. Singers are advised to bring their own lunch. Refreshments are provided in the afternoon break. Parking is available in the school grounds and wheelchair access is available. Hired music will be provided and is included in the ticket price.
