The week started with Mothering Sunday and after the 9.00am Parish Eucharist service all mums received a special thank you with a posy of daffodils.
The series of lent lunches continues hosted by the Churchwardens. Previous weeks have been hosted by the Bellringers, Mothers’ Union and Cathedral Clergy and Staff. Next week is the final week, St Teilo Guild will be serving soup, bread and cheese. Thank you to all for supporting this.
We welcome the Royal College of Music and Drama to the Cathedral on Thursday 10th March for a Mozart at Llandaff concert starting at 7.30pm. On St David’s Day we will be celebrating the festival with a Solemn Sung Eucharist at 5.15pm. As we give thanks for the saints who continue to inspire us on our journey in faith, we pray, with Dewi Sant, for the people of Wales and for God’s blessing on the institutions that serve us.
We shall also invest, commission and welcome new members of the Cathedral Guild of Stewards during the liturgy.
March 1st will also see the launch of the Cathedral’s new website. There will be an informal reception after the service where we hope you will take the opportunity to view the website. The Dean extends his thanks to George Pearce and his team at IAMP Ltd for their invaluable help and support.
