THE CATHEDRAL ORGAN APPEAL

Progress Report - May 2012

Having set up a separate bank account for the completion of the organ in April 2011 titled "Llandaff Cathedral Solo Organ" the Completion Appeal has raised over £60,000 to date.

The Appeal wishes to express their thanks to:

The Llandaff Festival 2011 which raised £26,000
The Garfield Weston Foundation for a donation of £10,000
The Gibson Trust for a donation of £5,000
The Cathedral Bellringers who raised £4,000
The Archbishop of Wales for hosting a Bangers ‘n’ Mash evening which raised £2,400
Jonny Titchin who raised £1,100 from his Sponsored Cycle Ride
Llandaff Cathedral Choral Society for raising £500 through their ‘Come and Sing Messiah’

and the many others who have either sponsored organ pipes or made donations.

The work to raise funds continues so if you have been delaying making your contribution please act now!

The ideal way of giving is to commit to a regular amount each month for the next one/two year(s) (gift aided if you are able to do so). If this is not suitable please have a look at our Sponsor a Pipe scheme, which has raised £29,230 to date.
